Sasha Kelley is a co-founder and director of The House of Malico. Sasha Kelley uses photography, place making & social practice to examine the topics of Black Identity, Women of Color Creativity, Cooperative Communities & Divine Archetypes. Sasha Kelley’s work is centered in documentation, as well as the intimacy of incubation. Kelley uses her creative practice as a tool to connect her personal, social and political experiences with that of the larger collective.
Sasha Kelley has exhibited at Siete Potencias Gallery, Krowswork, Somarts, Betti Ono and Berkeley Art Museum & Pacific Film Archive. Her works have been published in Umber Magazine, Tangible Gallery and Fader.
