The Honolulu Gay & Lesbian Cultural Foundation (HGLCF) presents the 29th Annual Honolulu Rainbow Film Festival (HRFF), which will be held at the Doris Duke Theatre at the Honolulu Museum of Art from August 09-‐19, 2018. This year’s festival will feature films from ClexaCon and the Asia Pacific Queer Film Festival Alliance (APQFFA), further diversifying HRFF’s programming.

Both international and local Hawaii filmmakers and actors will be attending the festival. Special guests in attendance include: Sharon Bell, Winny Clarke, Marem Hassler, Jackie Monahan, and Madeleine Olnek. Local talents in attendance include Keala Kennelly, Lala Openi, Kaveh Kardan and Keikilani Grune.

“We are fortunate to have a collection of films that really shines a light on women as well as talent we have abroad in neighboring Asian countries,” says Dylan Arrieta, HRFF director.
